Potential Hang-ups in Spags to Birds
Now that speculation over last week's report suggesting Steve Spagnuolo was set to join the Philadelphia Eagles as their new defensive coordinator (which is not really what the report said) has quieted down some, let's look at why you might want to consider tapping the breaks on that theory. Yes, there is evidence these two are not exactly a match made in heaven.

It'll be interesting to see if the Eagles go outside the organization for a replacement. That might be thorny, given that Roseman didn't come up through the scouting ranks and has never worked for another organization -- he wouldn't seem to have a deep list of former coworkers to work from there.

the more i read up on juan
the more i feel that he should stay for one more year. I hated a lot of what i seen but having 3 generic linebackers and no time to work with them is quite the task, especially when their play is heavily relied upon with the wide 9 scheme. I feel like we should bring in a FA or draft a top tier lb before we let juan go. He is a great coach, and while at first i was all for givin him to boot, I would like to see what he can do with the players behind him and a good linebacker to plug up the middle.
maybe....

I grew up in Pa. but my job has taken me deep into the swamps of louisiana where all you here is "who dat, who dat" and on clear nights when the wind is gently blowing from the northwest you can hear the wimpers and sobs of jerry and his herd of cowgirls.
