The 07 Giants rushed a combined 23 times in their Super Bowl and 37 total in championship game. 2008 Steelers rushed 22 times in SB and 26 in championship. The Saints even rushed 19 and 22 times. 2010 Packers' Starks in SB rushed 11, but he rushed 22 times in the Championship game. That is 25 rush/gm avg for the last 5 SB winners in their two most important games. Eagles in 2011 only playoff game had 13 rushes. Eagles in 2009 against Cowboys had 10 total rushes, Andy in 2008 had Mcnabb att more passes in their last playoff game of the season than any of the SB winners top two games except one. That's 22 SBs and championship games going back to 2000.Anyways, 2008 Eagles 16 total rushes.If you want to add Vick's 8 rushes in 2011 the total will be 21 but than we can had Rodgers 7 from last yr which would bring that toatal to 32 in championship game and Big Ben rushed 7 times in 06 in SB for 33. Point is the philosophy of SB winners even in the "passing league" now is different from Reids'. SB winners also avg 32 points in playoff game, and andy avg 16. Please go ahead and research Andy's NFC championships games in 02 and 03.
