It's just satire

He references bible passages that are real, but they don’t say what he says they’re saying. No translation of the passages correlate to the meaning he interprets.

Of course, the rest of the stuff in the bible is all real. And it’s not at all subject to interpretations or alternative meanings. It’s wrong to just pick and choose small phrases out of the bible and spin them various ways, right?

So you’re kind of a dick huh? I was just pointing out that passages he picked in no way shape or form use that language. I wasn’t commenting on his interpretation of them or anyone elses interpretation of bible passages for that matter. He uses quotes in the article, which usually means that it’s a direct quote and not an interpretation. Those quotes don’t appear in the passages he named.
