As we all know today is the day that all coached dread. I'm sure very few coaches take pride in telling a young man, or a vested vet that their career is likely done.. Today we will see many names we've rooted for over the offseason, preseason and even years released, we'll see guys we don't give a shit about get the boot. We will cheer for some, we'll cry over some, and if Te'o's released I'm sure EB will be doing both at the same time.
But... Let's take a second to morn a man who was critical in the Eagles 2010 season, a man who provided weeks, even months worth of entertainment for us here in Philadelphia, this is a man whom all of us know of and love.. More after the jump
If you guys don't realize who I am talking about, I am talking about the man who single won us that Miracle in the New Meadowlands game, the man who defied his coach and sent the rock right to Desean, the man who was green on the inside but was stuck in that ugly blue.
Yes my friends, I am talking about Matt Dodge.
I would like to thank Dodge for all he did for Philadelphia, you will be missed...
