Broderick Bunkley a No Show in CLE, Deal Negated?
Seems that Bunk is a no show...CLE front office is trying to act like the trade never happened and that they didn't announce it...others reporting that deal was done, but that he technically didn't "show up for physical"...Unsure if it is a contract issue or not at this point, but that 5th rounder may be an issue.
As an Eagles fan, I can say definitively Bunk didn't show up for most of his career...

Caplan
Caplan is saying that it was turned in to the league office and that it showed up on the online personnel notices for the league…
To me that says it probably means that CLE is stuck with the “he didn’t pass the physical” argument in attempts to get back the 5th round pick…

TBD
1) Bunkley has to be given a 5 day notice to report. Neither CLE or PHL can do anything until Bunkley is given time/notice and still does not report.
2) If the deal stated Bunkley had to pass a physical with CLE then the deal is negated. Bunkley was active in our training camp so there is a chance that clause was left out in which case CLE is on the hooks for the 5th rounder, but unlikely.
Not sure...
Seymour was in the “pass physical” situation, but they dealt with it as if it were the Raiders issue to get him there…I’m not sure “refusing to show up” is a “failure” of the physical allowing the negation, but I guess we’ll see…
