I was just trying to think about the individual talent of this team and it made me start thinking about this group of individuals in comparison to the rest of the the teams we've fielded.  And at first glance, I'd have to say that it is.  More after the jump...

Micheal Vick - Top 5 QB

Desean Jackson - Top 5 Wideout

Jason Peters - Top 5 LT

Trent Cole - Top 5 DE

Asante Samuel - Top 5 CB

Nnamdi Asomogha - Top 5 CB

You can look up and down the history of this team, and I'm almost CERTAIN that you won't find 6 players on any one roster that are in the top 5 at this position.  And, for most of them, it's not even an argument.  The only argument you could make is for Desean because the number of receptions he gets aren't comparable with those in the top 5.

Then you factor in those that are in the next 5 or 10 at their position...the Maclyns, the McCoys, the Rodgers-Cromarties and a crop of freshmen and sophomores that would be starters on many teams.  WOW this team is stacked.

I've argued ever since I logged on here that I wanted GAME CHANGERS.  I said repeatedly said that I was tired of having people that we considered good players that other teams didn't even know about.  I wanted people that made teams worry about us...I wanted players that gave other team's coordinators nightmares.  The front office heard my reQwest.  Now, QBs have to be REALLY careful with where they go with the ball.  And while they are figuring that out, Cole and Babin are closing the ends down on them.  GAME CHANGER.

So, what say you, BGN...is this the most individually talented team we have ever fielded?
