that is ridiculous. the guy gave the eagles a pro bowl season and was a class act. they didn’t need to get him a fruit basket or a gold watch, but at least give him the courtesy to cut him in person.

Vince Young

his problems were more off the field than on, along with a rep of being not receptive to coaching.

Washburn watched Young in the lockerroom and his interactions with Fisher.

It is reasonable to think Reid and the FO discussed Young with Washburn (they had to know he would probably get cut) and Washburn opined that the problems were as much with Fisher as with Young.
