Eagles moves so far
The Eagles have spent roughly around 7 million in free agency in trades by acquiring Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Jason Babin. The Eagles have also signed several undrafted players to fill out the 90 man roster and add some serious competition to the team.
Kolb to Arizona for DRC and a 2nd round pick in 2012 or 2013- Eagles trade their backup quarterback and his 7 career starts to Arizona for a good but still kinda raw corner along witha second round pick. Both teams got what they want. Eagles get a upgrade at right corner for about the same amount of money we spend on our magical longsnapper, Jon Dorenbos. Good move, DRC isn't Ike Taylor or Nnamdi Asomugha, but he still has a high ceiling and could turn into an elite corner in next two years in Philly.
Jason Babin- Babin was signed today to a 5 year deal worth 30 million with only 7 mil guaranteed. Babin may be the best value of any of the defensive ends on the market. Ray Edwards is younger, and probably will command more money. Babin is coming off a year where he had 12.5 sacks for an okay defensive line. His defensive line coach, Jim Washburn, will be his DL coach in Philly so he is already familar with how Wash does things. Bottom line this was a good move, it won't sell a million jerseys in 12 hours but it will be a huge boost for the pass rush. Remember we already have Antonio Dixon, Trent Cole, Darryl Tapp, Mike Patterson and a UFL star in Phillip Hunt. We didn't necessarily need a Julius Peppers, just a proven veteran still in his prime.
Noel Devine/ Derrick Locke/ Graig Cooper- If the Eagles don't land Darren Sproles, one of these guys will make the team. Devine and Locke have great speed and can catch the ball and handle the return game as well. Graig Cooper looked like the next great RB from the U, but injuries have really held him back. If Mr. Cooper is fully healthy and can stay that way he may be the steal of the 8th round.

They were undrafted due to injury concerns...
Dion’s nothing special.
Defensive player of the year for 2011 is...
Wild_Eagle!
Yes, Wild_Eagle's infamous reputation did help him get this award. But he shows that he walks the talk that he serves...with his keyboard. Wild_Eagle protects the motherland (BGN) from the evils of noobs, douche-bags, and other assholes. Although he may be crude and unnecessary, all great defenders draws the yellow flag from time to time.

thats what i remember hearing when he was drafted on bgn could be wrong though i didnt follow him at college and i hate pit lol
Ben Leber?
I see now that the Rams may go for him, since it seems he is not going to stay in Minnesota. I was really hoping the Eagles would take a look at Ben. Solid veteran LB. Smart, no baggage and could work in fast in camp.

According to Eaglescap.com
Dorenbos makes over 900,000 and DRC will make a little bit more in 2011.
