Before I start my rant just look at the career numbers,
Games- 219
Receptions- 1,078
Receiving Yards- 15,934
yards per catch-14.8
yards per game-72.8
longest reception- 98
touchdown receptions-153
Those stats alone verify my statement. By the end of his next season Terrell Owens will be second on the all time catches list behind only Jerry Rice. He is also second in receiving yards behind Jerry Rice. And currently second in touchdown catches behind guess again Jerry Rice.
He has been considered a cancer by many fans and analysts but I disagree. I feel strongly like Terrell does also. All he wants to do is win.
Andy Reid and the rest of the Eagles management are to blame for the disastrous ending. Terrell Owens was traded to the eagles with a current contract that he believed he out preformed.(judging from what he did for us I agree)
The man severely breaks his ankle because of a cheap play by Roy Williams and comes back way ahead of schedule to play in the superbowl. If the eagles win that game terrell owens is the MVP. He had 9 catches for 122 yards with a bum ankle. The heart and determination in this guy is crazy.
Jerry Rice is the best no doubt about that he was a great iron man also. But without a doubt you have to give T.O. the benefit of the doubt the man can still produce. If you put him on a good passing team lets say Atlanta or green Bay he would be a pro bowler every year.
Terrell owens has 17 nfl records. The most held by any receiver ever.
I honestly believe if he were to retire tommorrow he would be a first ballot hall of famer.
So if youre ever bored and you read this just look up some terrell owens highlights on youtube. It more than proves my points.
