Ex-New York Giants RB Tiki Barber says he battled depression after NFL - ESPN New York
Tiki said that after he was fired form NBC he did nothing for a year. "I remember there were days where I would literally wake up, have coffee, get something to eat and sit on the couch and do nothing for 10 hours," he said. [Note by JasonB, 06/21/11 12:25 AM EDT ] This is all he would do at the draft while he still was employed. Just sat downstairs in the food area on his blackberry for the entire time. Literally.
NFL: With Kevin Kolb, the Arizona Cardinals can win the NFC West - ESPN
"Ultimately, my sense is they will be able to trade for Kolb. And if they do, there's no reason in that division that the Cardinals couldn't come away as the NFC West champs. If they get Kolb, that division is going to be a lot more interesting than it was last year. Sam Bradford will be better in St. Louis in Year 2, San Francisco with Jim Harbaugh will be better and Seattle was the only team in the division last season to win a playoff game. So the NFC West might be a lot more intriguing than people think."

Kearse overrated?
That’s a kind understatement. There’s no sugarcoating this one… He sucked. His nickname here should have been “Weak”.

Bunkley is the worst.
He should be cut. Frank’s article does not even scratch the surface of how disgraceful his play has been. He makes Mike Patterson look like Ndamukong Suh. And that is a difficult task to accomplish given how mediocre Patterson is.

Q: What do a leaky tampon and Sean McDermott's defense have in common?
A: They are equally ineffective in the red zone.
i agree ...but...
lets remember Bunk beating Shaun O’ Verrated not once but twice on two critical 4th an shorts which was the key 2 us stopping them and winning that divisional playoff game, i remember everyone thought he was gonna blow up the next season but it never happened, im not giving up on him yet, lets see if washburn can do anything with him b4 we throw him 2 the wolves.

How is Bunkley the worst? Because he isn’t making splashy plays? Sure he isn’t the impact player he was supposed to be but he isn’t ‘the worst’. Bunkley helped turn the run defense around, since 2007 the Eagles have the 5th ranked run defense in the NFL. Prior to Bunkley’s presence on the DL the Eagles had ranked 24th in the NFL in run defense from 1999-2006. Just a coincidence? I think not. Bunkley’s strength made him a very good run defender.
And part of the reason that Bunkley hasn’t been as successful is because he has been stuck in a system that doesn’t suit his skill set. Blame Andy Reid, blame Jim Johnson, blame Pete Jenkins, blame Sean McDermott or blame Rory Segrest for failing to properly evaluate their talent. Bunkley is not a guy who fit what they were trying to do, he is not a 2 gap, run clogger, that is not what he is. Bunkley is a guy who needs to be let loose upfield and Jim Washburn is going to give him a shot to do just that.
Bunkley isn’t the worst and he isn’t overrated, people have a very good sense of what he is, a player who was misused yet still managed to have success and be a contributing member of our defense.

Which is more likely:
That five coaches misused him or that he just can’t do what they ask of him? You might be right, but it’s easier to believe that one guy is failing rather than five.

This is the same coaching staff that misused Will Witherspoon, Takeo Spikes, Chris Clemons, and Jason Babin. So it’s very possible that lots of other people are failing here.

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!
Jackson only #29 ...
He is THE MOST explosive player in the league. Put the ball in his hands; whether its a kick off, punt, deep pass, WR screen, end around, over the middle (F!@#$ you Dunta), or blocking down field, there is no one i would rather have on my team than him!!!
ALSO, what is up with the NFL.com poll question of the day, of the 3 WRs, who would you rather have, Calvin Johnson, Desean, or Roddy White, … and Desean comes in a DISTANT SECOND!?!?!? WTF?!?!? I whole-heartedly disagree!
DeSean was waaaaaay overrated in the top 100 players thing. I love DeSean but there is no way in hell he is a better receiver than Greg Jennings, Brandon Marshall or Reggie Wayne. And he really should’ve probably come in third on that poll. DeSean is the best big play threat (Mike Wallace?) but he isn’t even close to the best receiver.

I would so take Jackson over Marshall. Marshall’s yardage has been dropping since ‘07 and, besides an outlier in 2009, doesn’t score any more TD than Jackson. Marshall is also about as useful down the field as I am – having all of 9 plays of 20+ yards (Jason Witten had 13 and he’s a tight end).
Plus Jackson isn’t a freaking moron.

the way they did the top 100 is retarded.. they let every player write their top 20 and went from there. so thats how you end up with a FB from the texans being rated higher than trent cole.. really stupid list idea if you ask me
