"If the Eagles really have an offer of a first-round pick for Kevin Kolb, who had seven touchdowns and seven interceptions last season, then what is Palmer worth? Granted, Palmer's five years older at 31, but he had 26 touchdowns to 20 interceptions in 2010."
I would much rather trade for Kolb than Palmer.......

Oh cmon
1) Kolb is younger
2) Kolb only played 3 games last year as a starter.
3) Three of Kolb’s interceptions happened in a game where he played with backups.

Is it a serious question?
Eagles got a same-year 2nd and a conditional 3rd/4th for McNabb to a division rival.
So maybe a conditional 2012 2nd/3rd for Palmer?
If Brown is willing to take the call, he will get a 2012 first-round pick and a veteran player for Palmer.
I think Kirwan is forgetting that Palmer is 31, i snowhere near the same player he was before he tore his ACL, and pretty much has no upside. The Bengals wouldn’t sniff anything cloes to a one, even if they entertained offers.
