Hasselbeck, Plax, Haynesworth, P. Peterson, Babin, and keep Harrison? You, good sir, are on crack.
But I like the rest of the post, and I could even see some of those guys being Eagles. Just not all of them.

i thought bigblue was a giants fan? from the looks of it ur a birds homer for life!
i def like the chart but i think hasselback will find a starting job, and i dont think were going to get patrick peterson….i love the babin pick up, and im convinced haynesworth is going to be in an eagles suni next year…solid list accept the two things i pointed out

Brian Dawkins, you are the greatest Eagle of all time
Haha definitely a Giants fan. Nothing will change that!
Just taking up dual residence at BBV and BGN because y’all are cool, and its always good to get different takes on your views. Think of me as your resident Giants diplomat from now on.
No trash talk from me until the season starts because I think its useless till then haha. I also agree with your views on the depth chart. Only thing I disagree with is the opinion that the Eagles are going to the superbowl of course, haha

counted Jackson and Peterson twice
but there is zero chance that Buress or Haynesworth is on this team and about .05% chance of peterson being there.
Cowboys suck.
left him out. just sayin

Maclin is your 4th WR?
Or am I misreading that?
you are
Macling and Djax are starters.. Avant is 3rd, Plax is 4th and Sunshine is 5th
Good
I thought for a second the creator of this had lost his mind.
with Bradley at WLB
and Plax on the team along with Fat Al and PP and Babin one could still make the case that he is living in a dream
This is horse shit.
Defensive player of the year for 2011 is...
Wild_Eagle!
Yes, Wild_Eagle's infamous reputation did help him get this award. But he shows that he walks the talk that he serves...with his keyboard. Wild_Eagle protects the motherland (BGN) from the evils of noobs, douche-bags, and other assholes. Although he may be crude and unnecessary, all great defenders draws the yellow flag from time to time.

- Dion Lewis starting over Jerome Harrison… You’re Dreaming, Sir!
- Eagles signing Plaxico Burress… You’re Dreaming, Sir!
- Eagles signing Fat Al… You’re Dreaming, Sir!
- Keeping only one LB with more then a season’s worth of experience… You’re Dreaming, Sir!
- Eagles somehow acquiring Patrick Peterson… You’re Dreaming, Sir!
This roster… YOU’RE DREAMING, SIR!

Appreciate the Effort
but this comes across as the results of playing too much Madden:
QB – Hasselbeck stays in SEA, we sign a guy like Gradkowski as a 1 yr stopgap till Kafka is ready
RB – If Harrison stays, he is the b/u, not Lewis
FB – Schmitt is only FB on the roster, Havilii (sp?) is PS material for the 1st yr.
WR – Plax is a longshot, but not an outright impossibility. Vick did visit him in jail, it could have been a recruitment trip.
OL – I think you got this right
DL – I think Babin will be too expensive on the open market, although I bet he would take less money to play under Washburn, plus we have a lot of guys who have potential @ DE and this regime will give them a chance to play. Big Al is a possibility under the right circumstances (incentive laden contract being the biggest)
LB – You mixed up WILL and SAM, and I think Clayton beats out either Rolle or Lloyd and the odd man out (or two) end up as PS material.
CB – I just can’t see AZ trading us PP, plus the rookie salary wage pool would almost prohibit this from happening (something to do with the size of the available salary being tied into when you drafted, and we simply wouldn’t have enough salary pool to pay PP and Watkins, plus the other 10 guys we drafted. If I am incorrect in this, please let me know,) The RCB will come out of FA or the KK trade, and I can’t even pretend to know what this regime has planned there, so I’m not going to even try.
Just my thoughts.
the rookie salary wage pool would almost prohibit this from happening
You’re right if rules similar to those used in recent years are in effect. There’d be a set amount of cash available to rookies on each team based on where the teams drafted its players. In 2004 the Giants had to get creative when signing their rookies after they swapped Rivers for Eli, and that was only swapping the #4 for the #1.
There’s just no way that you could pay the kind of money that the #5 overall would demand without any increase in the size of the rookie pool. This is all moot if there are new rules in place though.
Either way I don’t see this happening. DRC may be a possibility
Thank you for the affirmation. Seeing how one of the major issues with the negotiation of the new CBA is the reduction of rookie contracts, I can’t imagine a new set of rules allowing for us to trade for PP (which btw, just isn’t going to happen even if we could, but I digress) and then sign him and the rest of our draft picks as well.
Couldn't Arizona hammer out a deal,
and then trade him?
Not that I think that anymore likely, but would it not solve the rookie cap problem?
That’s interesting, I seriously have no idea how the salary cap logistics would work in that scenario. I would assume that there are were rules in place to prevent that sort of circumvention.
Regardless, it would be an absolute headscratcher if AZ were to trade away PP.

Apparently our we will have no salary cap
Sorry but it’s time to nitpick
Matt Hasselback won’t be a backup and if he will he will cost too much.
Jerome Harrison will be traded during pre-season to the first team that loses a RB to a serious injury. Dion Lewis will be our backup along with Stanley.
Owen Schmitt is our FB
It’s adorable that you think Plaxico would take a reserve role for a hated rival, his ego is way to big for that.
Jason Babin has had one good year, not worth giving a big contract to.
Albert Haynesworth has character issues and will demand a bloated contract. Andy Reid wants high character guys and our front office doesn’t overpay 30+ year old free agents. (Nnamdi may be the exception)
Your linebackers couldn’t be more off. Stew is a MIKE or a SAM, Fokou is a SAM , Casey and Rolle are WILL and where is Kennen Clayton? Also, if Greg Lloyd Jr is our backup MIKE I will be praying everynight that Chaney stays healthy.
That day that Arizona trades PP to us is the day that Rod Graves(Cards GM) will be out of a job.
Swap Nate and Jarrett and you have the safties right.
I was a little dissapointed that you didn’t have us signing Charles Johnson, DeAngelo Williams, Vince Young and Darren Sproles, We had every other big free agent.
Mike Florio, Mark Buerle, Michael Young, Jemele Hill- you have all tried to bring down the Eagles player and fans by way of your awful aritcles and ignorant tweets. Your all in the Axis of Evil.

So we sign Hasselbeck, Plax, Babin, Haynesworth and get Patrick Peterson? Uh……………… Not happenin’.

dont be surprised
1. Nnamdi
2. Babin
3. Plax
4. Haynesworth
my guess is we get Nnamdi and Babin, but dont be surprised if more than 2 of those names show up on our roster

Not to mention
Teams typically only carry 8 maybe 9 OL… So Kelce or Vandelverde get year to hang out on the practice squad
I dont think they would put them on the PS
Another team would just come along and sign them, and the team likes both players.

Then whose gone?
1. Peters
2. Herremans
3. JamJax
4. Watkins
5. Justice
6. McGlynn
7. Dunlap
8. Howard
9. MJG
No way we carry 10/11 OL on the roster. There is no point, its not like you can use them as gunners. Now obviously JamJax and MJG are question marks but I really dont understand your fear of these guys getting snatched up? I mean Vandelverde and Kelce were late round/UDFA type guys. They are both considered undersized linemen which automatically eliminates about half the teams in the league from signing them to a roster. And as far as them signing to a different practice squad, would you rather learn from the best line coach in league history while you adjust to the NFL game with a chance to get called up to a SB contender or sign with Denvers practice squad?
First of all, Fake IR aka Redshirt year ...
… is a much more viable option for some of the guys we drafted. Like Greg Lloyd. Or whoever gets hurt in camp. Or Kelce, while he bulks up. (though Mudd likes em quick)
Second of all, it’s perfectly viable to keep 10 OL, especially when we could do 9 DL instead of our usual 10 this year.
