Rick Reilly's redraft 2006, 2007, & 2008
Reilly redrafted three years and then distributed points in order to show which teams draft well and which teams do in. He looked for 1st round quality talents that were and were not taken in the 1st.
2006 - Brodrick Bunkley, picked 14th, should have been 219th
2007 - Kevin Kolb, picked 36th, should have been 16th
2007 - Brent Celek, picked 162nd, should have been 29th
2008 - DeSean Jackson, picked 49th, should have been 3rd

Did Bunkley kick Reilly’s dog or something? I don’t get that ranking…
RIP Jim Johnson, best ever.
Cam Newton: future QB bust
im wondering the same thing
The ranking idea makes sense, but his rankings for some players are crap, especially bunks.

-Michael Vick #7
Why the fuck is Devin Hester the 8th overall pick? He’s an amazing returner but an average WR at best.
Jason Peters: Heart of a Lion, Face of a Chipmunk.
Eli Manning has the personality of a baked potato.
That confused me too. Dumervil, G. Jennings, J. Joseph, Hali, Finnegan, etc. are all better football players.

That idiot has Pierre Garcon Drafted 1 spot before All-Pro tackle Jake Long.
Jason Peters: Heart of a Lion, Face of a Chipmunk.
Eli Manning has the personality of a baked potato.
Who else should have been #1, though? I don’t think it should be Chris Johnson.

You don't think that...
…in a hindsight draft to date, Chris Johnson should be taken ahead of Matt Ryan? Ryan has been over hyped…he’s played average, at best. Chris Johnson is one of, if not THE most lethal player in the NFL today.
I-C-Y-U-H8-ME
moron....
this guy has Michael Huff, Bobby Carpenter, and Ernie Sims as better Pro players than Bunk?
These 3 are total busts. Bunk has been a solid contributer and starter on a perrenial playoff team
I love this idea and I think overall what comes out in the wash here is that there are teams that draft well and teams that don't.
And the teams that draft well tend to be the good teams, etc. But I wish someone other than Reilly would do a really hard, analytical take on this and see what truly comes of it.
