In an surprising (to me, at least) upset, Peyton Hillis beat Aaron Rodgers with 61% of the vote... but can he take down Vick, who cruised his way to the final?

yeah, Rodgers was the only player in this that had shot at taking Vick down… I think it’s clear that the people voting are choosing based off of fantasy football performance… it’s no coincidence that the two biggest sleeper picks are in the final.

I guess the good news is that anytime you turn Madden on, it’ll be all about the Eagles. And even though I love animals, I think PETA is maybe the dumbest organized assemblance of people on the planet, so anything that pisses them off is always entertaining.

But on the downside, I really hope Kafka can play.

I get angry when people support PETA blindly… do they realize what they’re supporting? Do they realize that PETA thinks their pets would be better off dead than owned by people? Do they know that PETA releases animals to be hit by cars or starve to death? Fuck PETA.

there’s a perfect storm brewing of things keeping the Eagles from improving their chances for a Super Bowl….we won’t be able to trade Kolb for a 2011 pick, we won’t be able to upgrade any positions of need w/ FA (Nnamdi) before the draft, Vick going down because a perceived curse, would be the “nail in the coffin”….

I’m going out on a limb here and will say the Madden curse only works that first time around…it’s kind of like chickenpox, once you’ve had it, you’re immune after that…

That said (and as Jimmy mentioned) how awesome would it be to have the Eagles being the “featured” team this year? I know they did it different last year by focusing on Brees and the Saints, and I hope they keep it alive by giving us a sick Eagles vid to get pumped up to…
