Eagles 2011 Linebackers Mock Depth Chart #1

We all know that nothing exciting really happend with our linebackers during the Philadelphia Eagles 2010 season. Stewart Bradley got hurt again, rookie Jamar Chaney looked impressive while taking over the middle, Moise Fokou kept his side of the field relatively quiet, and Ernie Sims unfortunately looked pretty awful. How could the linebackers 2011 depth chart look like?

Philadelphia Eagles Mock 2011 Linebacker Depth Chart #1:
WILL Jamar Chaney Keenan Clayton
MLB Stewart Bradley _____________
SAM Moise Fokou Rashad Jeanty

Read more after the jump, and I'll explain why this makes sense.

I really like Jamar Chaney at MLB but I think the Eagles are going to let Bradley go back to the middle. With that said, Jamar can definitely succeed at the WILL position. He was running with receivers last year, and looked good. I asked Jamar Chaney via Twitter, what he thought of playing WILL. Here's our conversation on Twitter:

Moise Fokou will stay at SAM unless newly acquired Rashad Jeanty can win the job in training camp. There is a hole in this depth chart. No backup MLB. I think we'll be able to address that in the draft. We'll either take a MLB or an outside linebacker, and move Jamar Chaney back to the middle as a backup. I asked PhiladelphiaEagles.com's Dave Spadaro, did he think there's a possibility of seeing Chaney, Bradley, and Fokou in the starting lineup at the linebacker positions. Here's his response:

"I think very good. I think Chaney fits in nicely as a weakside linebacker. Bradley tendered as a 2nd round draft pick, looks like he'll be back. Fokou I think came along nicely at the strongside last year and he will be pressed by Rashad Jeanty, guaranteed."

No I didn't include Ernie Sims, Omar Gaither, or Akeem Jordan. They're Free Agents, and I don't think the Eagles will look at signing any them back. Check back later, and I'll be doing another Eagles 2011 Linebackers Mock Depth Chart in the future.
