Titans Decline to Re-Sign Jason Babin
The Tennessee brass has declined to give Babin a new contract and appear prepared to let him hit free agency. Babin has been mentioned as a possibility to return to the Eagles due to his close relationship with Jim Washburn, so this move (or rather, lack of a move) makes a reunion that much more likely.

He's not leaving the titans sadly or at least i believe that
The titans are just delaying contract talks with him untill a new cba is established
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
Normally, I'd agree
But Babin seems to think otherwise. He might not even want to return if they wait too long.

Sorry, Sparki
I didn’t see yours. That’s what I get for posting on the run…

BTW.. in the article
it doesn’t say he wants to be back here with Wash it says.. He wants to be in Tenn even though Washburn is here..
Babin wants to be back even though defensive line coach Jim Washburn left town to join the Philadelphia Eagles.
Good. I dont want him back. Much like an ex girlfriend, I just dont trust him.

Defensive player of the year for 2011 is...
Wild_Eagle!
Yes, Wild_Eagle's infamous reputation did help him get this award. But he shows that he walks the talk that he serves...with his keyboard. Wild_Eagle protects the motherland (BGN) from the evils of noobs, douche-bags, and other assholes. Although he may be crude and unnecessary, all great defenders draws the yellow flag from time to time.
He won't come here.
He’ll want too much money and the word was he didn’t get along with the locker room in Philly.

If we can get him on a one-year deal, it might be a decent insurance policy for Brandon Graham coming off of an ACL tear.
He's looking for years,
Babin’s been bouncing around and moving year after year for a while now, I think he’s looking for a home, not a place to rent himself for a few months.
I think if we offer him a 1 year deal it’ll have to be more than he’s worth.

Would you go 3 with a larger signing bonus and lower yearly to keep it cap friendly?

Umm,
I mean he’s had 1 good year in how many? I wouldn’t give him a big contract.

how much would it cost for him to remove his gay arm tattoo? Only then would i be excited for us to sign him.
I hate that thing too
Hey look at me, look at me! I have a stupid unoriginal tattoo! The only thing lamer than what I have would have been barbed wire.
Cowboys suck.

Something is wrong here...
Why would they let him go without at least offering something unless there was a problem. The year he played with the Eagles he looked great in camp, started the season on a tear, and then fizzled. Was it chemistry with McDermott or the possibility that he really isn’t that great?
I’d like to see him at the Eagles camp under Washburn to see if he fits better this year. Washburn seems to be a good mentor for problem children like Hayneworth, maybe Babin too.
Babin wouldnt be an upgrade over anyone we currently have on the roster at DE IMO; w/ the exception of Teo and Parker. I’d rather see the probable improvements of Ricky Sapp getting a closer look.
Rather pick up a fallen DE talent in the draft like Greg Romeus but not Clarborne. If we were to sign a DE though, I’d rather us make a bid for RFA Charles Johnson.
