Philly.com terrible article about Reid's reaction to Akers' missed FG's

I think the writer is completely off base here. I don't think Reid was looking to call out Akers here. I hate Philly.com . . . what do you guys think?

Not that im trying to defend Reid...

…but you know that some reporter asked him a question like: Were Akers’ missed FGs of importance in this game? Or maybe something like: If Akers would have made those FGs, would those 6 points have helped you win?

Well DUH, we can all count dumbass reporter….

I dunno, some of these responses have to be put in context sometimes….reporters are often very dumb and ask dumb questions…

Gonzo evidently has a weird obsession with Akers.

Anyway, Reid didn’t call anyone out, as Gonzo is suggesting. I was in the room when Reid said that. There was really no other answer. What’s he going to say? Those FG’s weren’t important? Foolishness.

who cares what anyone says because I’m pretty damn sure that Akers made the pro-bowl and was the best kicker all season so forget the haters. I wish him luck for next season and I hope he is still in Philly.

i know im late on this. but i hate that guy gonzo. what a shitty article he wrote. i read it the other night and couldnt come up with a place to vent about it.

gonzo wrote that akers needed to be traded about a week and a half ago and went on and on about how akers was terrible for missing those kicks.

now he decides to turn around, and blame reid.

i hate the dude.

ive said it before and ill say it again. i want to punch gonzo in the dick.
