Pricesless Post-Game Quotes from Mike Vick
I hear that a young defensive coordinator with a great pedigree might be made available. McDermott or something like that…?
Oh boy, is this great!

Judging by his results this year, I don’t think Juan Castillo was suspecting a lot of things.

Talk about being put in the wrong position
The guy was a failure as an o-line coach and got promoted / shifted to defensive coordinator.
I really wonder what Andy Reid was drinking when he thought that up.
Maybe the last 3 games show that he hasn’t been an absolute failure (like the previous ones showed that he was), and has learned something, but he really shouldn’t have taken on a job he wasn’t prepared for.
Cut him loose, see if he ends up in the NCAA or as a position coach somewhere, and if in 5 years he seems to have learned something, keep him in mind if a job he can do opens up.

Castillo was not a failure as an o-line coach. The guy was one of the best in the business.

Geez you guys are brutal
Atleast he gives it everything he’s got. If our defense would play with as much heart and emotion Juan puts into his job, we would easily be on top of the division.

Kind of agree with you but...
Heart by itself does not get you talent. That only happens in movies.
Both directly and indirectly, he didn’t do the job he was hired to.

are you saying they didn't have talent?
I’m pretty sure there was plenty of talent up and down the line here. If Jenkins blames it on players not giving it there all and not trusting the scheme, then I am going to listen to what he has to say. It’s not Juan’s fault that players won’t tackle, that drc jogs after a receiver gets a completion on him, that casey matthews played terrible, and that he was given no offseason to get the players ready for all the changes in scheme. It came down to the heart of the players, and their willingness to do what needed to be done. There was plenty of talent all along this team. They just wanted it handed to them instead of working for it.

LOL
when has a coach ever said….“I am worried for my future”?
Joe Banner is Evil Banners father. Kinda like Luke and Darth Vader.
Juan Castillo switching from the offensive line coach to Defensive coordinator is soooo dumb it might just work.
Our defense will not be a top 10 defense this year.
