Eagles NFC East & Jason Babin Sack Record Odds

PHILADELPHIA, PA - DECEMBER 18: Mark Sanchez #6 of the New York Jets is sacked by Jason Babin #93 of the Philadelphia Eagles during the first half at Lincoln Financial Field on December 18, 2011 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Rob Carr/Getty Images)

Online bookmakers Bovada released some lines for the final two weeks of the NFL and the Eagles are involved in a few. First, they've set the odds that Eagles win the Super Bowl at 40/1. The bird's odds for the NFC East title are obviously a little better...

Odds to win the 2011/12 NFC East Division

Dallas Cowboys 1/2

New York Giants 11/4

Philadelphia Eagles 11/2

And they've got odds on whether Babin can reach Michael Strahan's sack record.

Will Jason Babin tie or break the record of 22.5 Sacks in a single Regular Season?

Yes 5/1

Would you put your money on any of these?

i’d put money on babin to break the record. 4.5 sacks in two games seems pretty reachable. Especially since he’s coming off two 3 sack games.

5/1 On Babin

He needs 2+ in the next 2 games, and while their line is 20th in sacks allowed, Washington is giving up the 2nd to most hits on QB.. Should be a 3 there… and all he needs is 2 this week. = 23 sacks. Tough, but doable.

I'd put money on us winning NFC east

as for the superbowl one, I think we beat the falcons or one of the other wild card teams. After that I think we have a fair chance against anyone

got a question, has nothing to do about this. are the mccoy jersey sold out on the eagles website? i cant find them..i noticed most are cut to 50$ will his still be 80$?

I think both of those are iffy

Getting 4.5 sacks in 2 games is tougher than people have been making it sound in the past week since the Jets game. Like, a lot tougher. Don’t like that one. If it was like, 10/1, maybe.

11/2 for the division—essentially, betting 11/2 for four games to go your way—is also tough.

Well only spread I would imagine to be more than 2 or 3 points would be the Washington game next week, and even then, I’d probably lay em down.

Wouldn't bet on either

But would bet on the Cowboys running all 85% of their run plays to Babin’s side. He’ll be so keyed up to get those sacks, those plays should eat him up

its on the superbowl

IF we make the playoffs it would be more reasonable to play the division buy 40/1 is an amazing payout especially if you already believe that we will make the playoffs

AMAZING

I like how I’m the first Eagles fan to want them to win the Super Bowl. Yanoo, just the thing we’ve never fucking had and always wanted/needed. IF ONLY A DOLLAR BET THE EAGLES WINNING THE SUPER BOWL DAMNIT!!!

I WANT ONE! NO MORE NFC EAST TITLES AND NOTHING ELSE!!!!!!

The eagles r to inconsitant to b making bets but if I had to I’d put my money on babin

I'd put money on both!

I’m feeling the holiday spirit and I say Christmas comes early this year with a trouncing of the Cowboys. Babin gets 3 more sacks and the Eagles move one step closer to the ultimate goal. Go Birds
