Could it be anymore obvious? Look, I'm disappointed with the season too. I'm disappointed with the overall play of the WRs, but no one guy deserves to take the blame for this mess. Most of the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the coaching staff, and everyone knows that.

Some in the media are looking to benefit from disarray by finding someone to make a "pin-guy" for the Eagle troubles. Now, look, if you want to argue the merits of how valuable Desean is to this team, that's one thing, but character slander by the media is unacceptable.

A lot of guys were missing catch-able passes, dating back to last year with Michael Vick. To me, it comes down to undisciplined young players and a coaching staff that couldn't get things in order.

Right now, I really haven't made my mind up on Desean. I still like him, but his perception is really hurting him with the refs and media. He brings about a lot of negative attention, and if he was smart, he would do everything in his power to correct that. As for his play, I think when it's all said and done, he'll be a great no. 2 threat, but with his size, its debatable if he can be a great no 1.

The jury is still out on Desean, but the perception of him is really not helping his cause. My biggest beef with the Eagles players is their lack of discipline (not so much character) and that's where Desean sticks out like a sore thumb. That's something the Eagles as an organization have to correct, or this team will never reach their potential.
