Hi I love my eagles. I'm angry, confused, and frustrated by how our team is playing. But I'm also an optimist who does his best to be positive and use reason in the midst of my anger. Change is good and can be beneficial most of the time. This offseason I'm sure there will be plenty of changes which are necessary for our team to win. I understand that most fans with the help from the local media and across the internet want the head of Andy Reid. But is this possible move beneficial for the organization and the team moving forward?
Mr. Lurie if you decide to let Andy go that's your choice to make but don't let the fans, media, or the internet help you make this decision. This is your organization as well as your team. You didn't have to buy this team or when buying this team you could have chosen to relocate this team elsewhere. But you made a sound investment in this organization for the benefit of our team, the city of Philadelphia and its faithful cheering fans around the world.
When you hired Andy he was a man who was never a Head Coach or Offensive Coordinator. In the 13 years of coaching do you believe that Andy is the right man for this team and for your organization? With Andy the eagles have had more successes then failures. Do you believe that Andy can lead this team to a Super Bowl and winning the Big Game for our team, organization, and its fans around the world?
Andy Reid is responsible for this team and is accountable to this team, organization, and the owner. Nobody likes losing and since Andy has been here we've won more than we've lost. The Eagle fans are a loyal, passionate, and caring group who aren't afraid to voice their displeasure when the eagles aren't winning and of course let their opinions be heard through the media or blogs. But when the season is done and the offseason begins this is your decision alone regardless of the opinions of the fans, local and national media, and the internet.
Some fans may vow to never watch or attend games for the rest of this disappointing season. Some fans wish and hope that this team doesn't when the rest of their games so the Eagles
can get a higher draft position. And some fans enjoy negativity and the failures of this team. Mr. Lurie please just ignore these fake fans but I suppose we have our fair share of bandwagoners aplenty following our Eagles.
In conclusion Mr. Lurie do what you believe is right and help our Eagles continue our winning ways as we believe, know, and hope to win a Super Bowl in my lifetime.
Eagles fans the time is yours!
