Just want to say one thing to all the people bashing Jason Babin. The guy has been criticized for not "caring" against the run and so forth, but we really need to look at his addition as a good one. Maybe he's better off as a situational guy, but he is doing exactly what he is asked to do in this system. Under Washburn, he excels on playing simple--firing to the quarterback. Doesn't anyone remember that was the entire plan Washburn brought with him? Babin has done nothing but stand out in his role, but the absence of a fitting LB and safety corps to go along with the Wide 9 has doomed the run defense. He might be a little too concentrated on getting stats, but this guy was one of the fiery "leaders" in Training Camp and has done more than enough to be praised as a pass rusher.
