Hey hey now! Whodie wrote the first half, I wrote the second half. Where’s the love??? Lol. I mean there was no way we could publish it under dual authorship so he posted. Anyway… Whodie got married and bought a house not too long ago so he’s been busy.

Ummm, I’ll be pretty honest here. Whodie and I talk pretty much daily. We were both members of BGN before the SBN reskinning and long before the Yahoo! merger deal. We’ve both pretty much come to the conclusion that when we post, we put hours into one post looking up facts to, you know, back up our opinion, only to see it slammed with “Your wrong!” (intentional typo there), “first!”, etc. Or to see our post get bumped in 10 minutes by OMGZ Maddenzzz!, 5 posts about the same subject, or a post whose body is “words” repeated 75 times. It’s not worth the time and aggrivation that will come anymore. So we lurk, but we don’t participate much. In my humble opinion, we both have lots to bring to the table, but we just choose not to get invovled in the shit throwing contest.

I mean, my account has editiorial permissions; it has for a long time. I could front page this myself if i wanted to. Lol.

Do I miss writing here? Yeah… but it’s just not worth it. To me, the Yahoo! merger was the death of constant, solid, intelligent debating here. BGN may have gotten instant traffic increases, but quantity is certainly not quality.

On the other hand, your side site seems a lot more, um, I’ll say controlled. I’d love to contribute again somewhere. If you ever want some increased content, I’d be happy to speak to you about it.
