Jeremy Maclin, Michael Vick & DRC All Active Vs Dolphins
The Eagles appear to be officially back to full strength this afternoon as Jeremy Maclin, Michael Vick and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who have missed the past three weeks, will all be active today against the Dolphins.
The inactives are pretty interesting.
WR Steve Smith, CB Brandon Hughes, DE Brandon Graham, G Julian Vandervelde, OT Winston Justice, DE Juqua Parker and LB Greg Lloyd.

ugh graham
He has to still be hurt. He was a beast in college. Maybe we should go to a 3-4 and have graham be blitzing lb.

Yep. I have a feeling that he will be inactive the rest of the season, which begs the question, why did they bother to waste a roster spot by bring him off of the pup list?

I bet
They thought he’d be ready earlier than he was.
It’s a shame. We’ll have to see what happens next year.

It's a shame?
You’d have to explain that.
Who is it a shame for? To me it just seems like another swing-and-a-miss draft pick.

No Brandon Hughes and a gimpy DRC
Looks like we may see our 2011 1rst, 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks see playing time today
Jarret will just be in to give guys a break occasionally and Marsh will be the 5th CB, they’re not really going to be contributing that much.

How can Marsh be the 5th CB if there are only 4 CBs active?
Don’t bother to respond.

This season could’ve been completely different if Maclin caught the ball vs the Falcons and didn’t fumble vs the Niners. Eagles were demolishing the Niners who are one of the elite teams now. It makes it worse to know how good this team could’ve been if they just played to their ability and not beat themselves. People want to bring up LBs and safeties. You think every team is stacked at every position? They were just poorly coached.
Domino effect.
Eagle fans need to find that alternate Universe where coaches and players perform up to fans’ expectations.
Any ideas?

David Culley wants Chad Hall on the field over Steve Smith.
What the fuck is going on here?

I doubt David Culley has much of a say in the matter.

How long has he been on the coaching staff?
If he somehow is retained for the next 10 years will he have enough clout to hazard a comment?

You just named 3 people who need to disappear.

When I die, I want the Philadelphia Eagles to be the pallbearers at my funeral. So they can let me down, one last time.
Jimmy Johnson said that Reid should move Castillo back to O line coach and bring in Spagnola to run the D.

The 2011 Philadelphia Eagles:
"EXPECT NOTHING AND ACCEPT EVERYTHING AND YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED."
Margarito laughed, smiled and even taunted Cotto after suffering several big blows. His demeanor didn't help him at the end of the seventh round, when he sat on his corner stool, his right eye shut.
Or he can just fire Castillo all together and let Mudd keep running the O-Line.
Ed Snider is a crotchety old fuck.
That is all.
Mudd's o-line > Castillo's o-line

Rec'd.
Finally someone made that point.
Castillo was a decent OL coach. Mudd is clearly better. Better system, better at identifying the type of talent needed to make it work, better at inspiring high level production.

Interesting note by Les Bowen
#Eagles activating 3 QBs. Does this mean they’ll go to great lengths not to play Young, or just that they’re being acutious bout Vick ribs?
