I need to vent about DJAX
Dear DeSean Jackson,
As a concerned Eagle fan I'm writing this in the hopes you wake the *insert expletive of your choosing* up. Throughout the season you have given many interviews and tweeted many different tweets saying how you need to "man up and grind it out." Well DeSean I'm going to be honest here and say you have acted like a 12 year old princess who just got her period. I know you are vastly underpaid but your actions this year have been atrocious. We have seen you drop balls, shy away from hits, and bad route running. As a dedicated Eagle fan it drives me insane to see you do this. The funny thing is Eagle fans love you. They love the fact that you used to be the guy that our various QBs can count on. Someone who is there where we need the big play. We miss the WR who brought swagger to the team, who would run circles around CBs and various defenders for TDs. Now you are the shell of the player you once were. If you had bothered trying hard this year, by putting it all on the line every single goddamn game, you would have gotten paid.
Look at LeSean McCoy. He plays with heart despite the fact he is still playing out his rookie contract. He is going to get an extension and stay an Eagle while you are most likely are not. What did you even prove by this? You pretty much proved to the entire NFL that all you care about is money and that you are not a team player. I used to be the biggest DJax fan because you were the guy Eagle fans could count on every football game. Now you are a cancer to our offense and I do hope you get traded. That being said if you can just play football and be that skilled WR that Philly fans used to love for the next 4 games then maybe you could get an extension. It's just a shame that you couldn't try for the last 11 games of the season. You want big WR money but you don't act or play like the big WRs like Megatron, Fitzgerald, and Jennnings. As I write this we are losing to the Seahawks by 10, I hope you wake up right now, help Vince Young out, and win this game!
