Why the Giants are over-rated.

OK, its time to knock the Giants down off their high horse. They think they are sitting pretty on top, but I disagree. The Giants next 6 games are @NE, @SF, PHI, @NO, GB, and @DAL. I wouldn't be shocked to see a 6 game losing streak here. Giants fans feel confident (until they finish reading this post).

           Offense Ranking      Record

@NE           3                         5-2
@SF          23                         6-1
PHI             1                         3-4
@NO          2                          5-3
GB             4                          7-0
@DAL         7                          3-4

Giants might sneak a win in there somewhere, but you have to admit... that's a rough stretch for a team that lost to the Seahawks and the Redskins, and almost to the Cardinals and winless Dolphins. The only decent team the Giants beat was BUF. Unless you would actually consider the Rams, Cardinals (won by 4), Dolphins (won by 3), or a week 3 Eagles a good team. The Rams, Cardinals, and Dolphins have 2 wins... Collectively (LOL). The Giants had one of the easiest 1st half schedules and didn't take full advantage of it. The Giants haven't proved themselves yet. They have one win against a winning record team. All the other teams they played have losing records, and they either struggled or lost to 4 of them.

The Giants defense will be pretty battered after playing 5 of the top 7 Offenses in the league pretty much back to back. They get an easy game afterwards with the Redskins, but then again they already lost to them once... then they have the Jets and the Cowboys again. In my opinion, the Giants will be extremely lucky to pull 3 more wins this season. And to be honest it wouldn't shock me if they only get one more win (WAS).

The only positive thing going on for the Giants right now is that the Giants lead the league in sacks... Have you looked at the teams they played? They played 5 out of the top 6 most sacked teams in the NFL. Or as the NFL sees it, the worst Offensive Lines in the league.

The NFC East will be a race to the finish between the Eagles and Cowboys. The Giants and Redskins won't be a factor.
