Moise Fokou Done For The Year, Greg Lloyd Promoted To Active Roster

The Eagles announced today that they've placed LB Moise Fokou on the injured reserve list after he suffered an ankle injury Sunday against the Patriots. Taking his place on the roster will be rookie Greg Lloyd, who has been promoted from the practice squad.

Lloyd was a 7th round pick of the Eagles in the 2011 draft and at this point I think we're all interested in seeing young guys play, especially those on defense. Lloyd was a middle linebacker at Connecticut and was known as a stout tackler and a tough overall presence. Certainly our current defense could use that.

He's also the son of former Steelers great Greg Lloyd, although the two are estranged.
