At least we didn't give up a 4th quarter lead

Yes. I know you guys may be depressed right now since this game was probably the last nail in the coffin. However a lot of you guys are looking at this the wrong way.

1. We didn't give up a 4th quarter lead. Our defense came through and only allowed one touchdown in the 4th quarter. This is a HUGE improvement for our team.

2. We held the Patriots leading rusher to 48 yards. The Wide 9 works!

3.  We held Rob Gronkowski to less than 60 yards receiving. That guy averages 80 yards a game! We are no longer the team that gets victimized by tight ends.

4. Vince Young threw for 400 yards! Kudos to Vince Young on winning a starting job with a team next year. That team  will use him as a temporary starter until their 1st round draft pick QB is ready to start.

5. Riley Cooper had 71 yards receiving. Screw you Victor Cruz!

6. Michael Vick didn't get injured! Our starting quarterback came out of this game without a scratch.

7. Most importantly- You have been given the gift of time!

No longer will you watch an extra 8 hours of football every week, hoping that the Giants and the Cowboys will lose another game.

You have an extra two months to scout college players. Two months of impressing you friends by repeating what other scouts have written these college players

We would have sucked in the playoffs anyway. It's better to get this misery over with before Christmas.

8. More Andy Reid controversy! Who doesn't love a coaching controversies? Now you will have countless hours arguing to your friends about why or why not Andy should be fired. You conspiracy theories on Joe Banner being evil and Jeff Lurie purposely torturing Philadelphia fans will now hold water.
