Kevin Kolb was shouting out Philadelphia's plays on the sideline
According to LeSean McCoy Kevin Kolb was tipping off the Cardinals defense on what plays they were running. This makes sense seeing as he knows the system, it also makes sense, because other players have done this before.
Today on WIP Ike Reese admitted in 2005 he not only gave all the plays to ATL, but helped devise the defensive game plan to stop the Eagles in the season opener. Not surprsingly, the Eagles struggled mightily on offense that gane and this one.
It's also hard not to believe, that Steve Smith didn't give Juan Castillo all the information he has on the Giants offense either. But, seeing as you can give Juan the best cover corner in the league and see terrible results, it didn't seem to matter.
Lastly, this also just reflects on Andy as well. At some point, you have to know Kolb is tipping off the defense. Shady knew it, which means the offense knew it, which means Andy knew it as well. You also have to figure that he was going to do this...and to be honest, why wouldn't he? It's not illegal and it has happened before.
But you would think, knowing that it has happened before, and knowing it was currently happening in the game, the Eagles would've done something differently to counter act this .. FULL ON KNOWING WHAT PLAYS YOU'RE GOING TO RUN!
What an exclamation point, to a terrible game, and a terrible season.

yes
it does, and explains alot besides Vick breaking his ribs, the offense was just bad again, except McCoy and that is just because he is that good
What can you do? You can’t overhaul your entire playbook just because Kolb recognizes some of the formations and designs. Now if you were to find out that the terminology didn’t change AT ALL from last year, that would be a problem.

Agreed
I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. The Cardinals all have this on film anyway. It’s really more about execution than anything else.
Follow Bleeding Green Nation on Twitter & Facebook. Did you get your copy of the 2011 Eagles Annual yet?
Interesting,
especially since he seemed to have no knowledge of the playbook when he was actually here.
In 5 years, I want De'Anthony Thomas on this football team.
doesnt matter
this team cant beat anyone. I have never been so disgusted by an Eagles team as far back as I can remember.
Thats pretty funny
Good for him…..

what the fk? in COLLEGE we would change up our audibles, etc,
based upon how recently we’d faced a given team.
that they did not do this is criminal negligence. wtf????
if you know all the checks and shit, it should be easy for the DBs.
for example, show crowd on a receiver, wait for the QB to check to a fade, and then bail, pre-snap. i’m wondering if that’s what happened on the last INT? the DB looked like he was running the 9 route more than steve smith was.(smith was jogging on the route, too). from just watching the broadcast, it looked like either a terrible throw or decision, but if they baited him into a check…damn.
that’s just stupid on the part of the coaches.
