Interesting article from Smart Football about simplifying pre-snap reads against blitzes. The results have been obviously great, as Alex Smith has looked like a legitimate starting qb and Harbaugh has the no-longer-inept 49ers at 8-1. Given that the Eagles' qb has struggled with blitz pickup and getting the ball out quickly, this article is relevant.
