Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie played perhaps his best game as an Eagle on Sunday, so it's extra unfortunate that it will likely be the last time we seem him for a few weeks. The Eagles said that he suffered a high ankle sprain, but DRC told reporters afterward that he had torn ligaments as well.
"As I went through the wedge, somebody rolled on it," Rodgers-Cromartie said. He said he would only wear the boot "for a few days, until I start walking better."
After his awful showing against the Bears, DRC clearly played with some extra motivation yesterday notching his first sack, breaking up a pass and actually tackling well. So it's really too bad that we won't get to see if he can build off that performance. DRC shares that disappointment.
'It's very disappointing, coming off a game like that, basically starting to feel better about the plays," he said.
