Fantasy Football Week 10 Sleeper: Brent Celek

Stay connected for news and updates

PHILADELPHIA, PA - NOVEMBER 07: Brent Celek #87 of the Philadelphia Eagles is tackled by Brian Urlacher #54 of the Chicago Bears during the second quarter of the game at Lincoln Financial Field on November 7, 2011 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Nick Laham/Getty Images)

Brent Celek was written off as a fantasy option after a fairly disappointing 2010 and being largely anonymous over the first five weeks of this season. However, over the past three games he's had a resurgence with 18 catches and a pair of TDs.  So if you're in need of a TE this weekend, Celek could be a very strong play.

In two career games against the Cardinals, Celek has 12 catches for 168 yards and two TDs. The Cardinals have been ok against TEs this season however, giving up the 17th most fantasy points against them.

The Numberfire projections for Celek this week aren't terribly exciting, but I still think he could have a solid game and will continue to benefit from increased targets.

3.82 rec for 41.91 yds, 0.34 TDs for 6.26 pts
