They may win a few more games here and there….lets face it, they have plenty of power on offense, if they use it wisely…..but the Defense is such a mess right now. And it’s probably me pysching myself out, but I’m starting to thing this might be a good thing. If Henery had made one of those kicks or if Maclin hadn’t fumbled and we’d hung on and won, guys on this team would go right on doing the half-assed things they do thinking they can win that way, and we’d end up losing in the end. This way they are humbled, they put the work in and harness all that talent … and we’ll see what happens? (Fresh Prince shoulder shrug)

The media will keep it alive all year. You really think the ESPN talking heads are letting that go? It’s the best soundbite of the year. They’ve been labeled and the team has to deal with it.
Its a shame these forums have too many "cheerleaders" and people who get most of their LOL "football knowledge" from the talking heads in the media, and not from individual study. How I wish there were more people with actual football acumen that can forward the conversation and advance the sport...
Why did it take them getting smoked 36-0 in the 4th quarter, 4 red zone TOs, 10 TD passes allowed, 3 blown leads, and about 3 different LB iterations to “let it all hang out”? Why wasn’t it all hanging out from the start of game 1?

I'm not sure I really agree with something Vick said
“I think the ‘Dream Team’ — that word is dead now,” quarterback Michael Vick said Wednesday. "You can’t talk ‘Dream Team’ anymore. Maybe it put pressure on some players, maybe it didn’t. But I think just the fact that it was lingering around and people were talking about it creates a sense of pressure.
He’s in the locker room and knows these guys; I don’t. So this may be way off. But the impression I’ve been getting is not a team striving to live up to absurdly high expectations, but a team that believed their own hype and play with no real desire or motivation.

If we win now: how SWEET will it be to shove it down everyone’s throats. The media, the douchey fans, everyone who has tried to hate on this team for no reason.

as if the dream team talk is what gave us high hopes. Before that was even said, half of us or more thought with our FA moves we were the best team in the league. Poor Vince just got the grunt of it for saying it out loud.
The Dream Team won’t die that easily… whether it be by the media or on the field. (ok ok, that was cheesy, i know).
