A football life - Reggie White & Jerome Brown

On a different note with all that is going on with our team, how many people got to watch Reggie White and Jerome Brown?

I sat down and have watched this twice now since it premiered last Thursday on the NFL network.  It has brought back many many memories of my early days of standing behind my Eagles

I found a few things very interesting with this so if you did not catch it stay with me or you most watch.

Jerome Brown was as crazy as they come but was standing by his beliefs.  He was unbelievable to watch and even seeing some of his game clips Thursday night and again Sunday night, no one in professional football could have have touched this guy.  It was great to see him put the fear in grown mean and the way that other people saw him.  He was very genrous and caring off the field and it reflected in his actions.  He did do alot of crazy things off the field also but he lived life to the fullest and it was great to reminisce those times.  RIP - Eagle forever.

Now Reggie White - This man was a beast until he hung up his cleats.  He man handled people and he won games for us and the other team will shall not name.  He lived by his words of faith and will always be the minister of defense to us real Eagles fans.  The showed the moment he annouced Jerome's death & was it meant to be that he was passing on the words of his faith at the Vet the same time of the disastrous moment for the Eagles.  Who better to annouce this to our faithful fans.  What a great great man cut short in his life also.  The most interestikng thing I got from this biography was that there were mutal back & fourths over why Reggie left our Eagles.  Our GM , CEO everyone says they offered Reggie about $15 mil to stay in Philadelphia.  Of course without Reggie being here no longer, his wife stated if Philadelphia had offered anything Reggie would have stayed with us but nothing was.  I dont really remember much of our front office back then because it really was not a big deal. This was the begining of free agency as we know it and didnt matter then.  Just interesting to point out is all.

I really hope some of our newer fans take the time to watch this.  This was and could have possibly ended up being the greatest Dline to ever be in the NFL. Great memories of our great defenses.  Here is a trailer of this progam.
