Jason Kelce, Come On Man!
Jason Kelce got himself on ESPN's "Come On Man" segment tonight for this flubbed snap...
And of course, his fellow o-lineman weren't going to let that go.
Evan Mathis agreed and also pointed out that Kelce made the front page of Yahoo!
I hadn't seen it, but I went back to check and sure enough... There he was.
Jamaal Jackson, who Kelce replaced at center, actually offered some support.
But you have to hand it to Kelce, who was a good sport about it.

Thats hilarious
I remember after that cris collinsworth said something along the lines of ‘Vick must not have his hand hard in there when he is under center’. or something like that, but that was funny
lol i love it
The tension and pressure is disappearing and you can tell.

I love the personalities on this team.
Mudd, Shady, DJax, Herremans, Kelce, Celek, Vick, Mathis, Cole, Jenkins, Samuel, Rolle, Nnamdi… they’re all just fun to watch. Whether it’s on the field, the sideline, or in the media, they’re great.

I didn’t imagine Nnamdi would be this animated on the field. He brings a lot more attitude than I heard before he came here.
The Jruth shall be told.
I watch a lot of Raider games
and Nnamdi has never been this hyped on or off the field. He’s usually a very laid back guy.

Yeah the celebration after his pick this week
was a little surprising coming from him. The look at me stuff.
I liked the celebration with Asante, and honestly, corners have to have swagger. I’m fine with it, I just didn’t know NA had it in him.
More picks please and thank you.

i want to see how mathis, kelce, and watkins will do against wilfork and hanseworth

That defense sucks, we should shred them. Like Redskins modding level shred them.

if kelce can hold his own against them then he's legit

Jay Ratliff
is a stiff test. He passed. Kelce is legit.
Still waiting for the Eagles to Bring it Home for Jerome.
I’m not really worried about Kelce vs. smaller DT’s. Ratliffs a beast, don’t get me wrong, but I want to see how he does against guys like Ngata, Wilfork, and Haynesworth.
Jason Peters: Heart of a Lion, Face of a Chipmunk.
Eli Manning has the personality of a baked potato.
he'll gonna get eaten up
by ngata and wilfork…those guys are like twice his size. And Haynesworth? is that fat sack of shit still in the league?
Yeah that D is horrible. But will our D hold Brady?
Eagles: 3-4, The run has begun! HAHA Cowboys!
Flyers: Good start
Phillies: Sigh
Oh I have no faith in us stopping Gronkowski or Hernandez. I am just saying our offense should be running wild on them.
As much as I hate thinking about their TEs though, in a shootout with our pass rushers I think we match up well. Nobody matches up well against Brady, but if anyone can get to him it is Babin, Cole and Jenkins. Just have to have a good game plan, and play well.

But holding Witten to 3 catches has to give you some confidence…
I know its still Brady. But if the offense does what it did to Romo, the D has a chance to slow down Brady.
Eagles: 3-4, The run has begun! HAHA Cowboys!
Flyers: Good start
Phillies: Sigh
Sure, but Brady isn’t Romo and they have 2 great TE’s not one. That said, their outside receivers are nothing to write home about. Witten was encouraging, but it’s just not the same level of challenge the Pats will present.
Even then the middle of the field will have Welker, Gronkowski and Hernandez. It is going to be a MAJOR test for the LBs, Safties and probably NA.

I'll be curious to see how we play them
NA on Welker maybe? Having the three corners means you can have one follow and not have so much dropoff on the outside. Besides getting one of the LBs off the field seems to be okay on passing downs.
Still waiting for the Eagles to Bring it Home for Jerome.
NA on one TE, Asante on Welker
DRC can deal with Branch, no problem. Only problem is the other TE, maybe Clayton on him.

We will match-up
quite well against 2 TE sets. Jamar Chaney and Nnamdi can cover. Put Joselio in the slot against Welker. DRC and Asante on the outsides. Coleman in the box to stuff the run and create havoc.
Obviously Bellichick and Brady will try to counter whatever we bring, but on paper I like the match-ups
Haynesworth is sucking massive ass in NE. Hopefully he gets cut and we sign him for cheap in the offseason.
Jason Peters: Heart of a Lion, Face of a Chipmunk.
Eli Manning has the personality of a baked potato.
After sucking in two places
do we even want him for cheap?
Still waiting for the Eagles to Bring it Home for Jerome.
Yes, for the same reason that the Phillies (as long as Charlie is the manager) should always look at signing Manny Ramirez on the cheap

Can we resign Mathis now? Give him DeSean’s money, I don’t care.

Still don’t understand 1-4.
God, this team frustrates me. I never thought of a football team as a “she”, but goddamnit its acting like my exs.
Starts out like a dream, then reality hits. I keep making excuses, and writing things off as freak occurances, and she strings together enough things to keep me glossy-eyed, right up until she misses the playoffs. lol
I would like to thank my hands for being so great, for allowing me to type this post.

and the Giants and the Falcons 4th quarter
Too bad Vick was injured.

That's the one that frustrates me the most
because even with the 49ers running wild, all we needed was Henery’s FG and it’s a W.
But if the four losses humbled and steeled this team for an eventual run, I’m okay with them. Now.
Still waiting for the Eagles to Bring it Home for Jerome.
Not funny if they lost.
He blocks on those runs really well tho.

I know alot of people have hounded Joe and Howie for the last two drafts
but the late round picks have made up for the early pick struggles…hell if we got rid of our third every year, it’d probably be a blessing. We basically throw it away anyway.
Trevor Laws: "Thank Giants for kicking to (Desean)."
Mike Vick: "Why would they kick to Desean?"
Matt Dodge: "Snap too high!"
NJ Eagle: "Fly Eagles Fly!!!"
We should just consider using our 3rd to trade for a player.

this is exactly what i meant when i said its been asked before. This is how the conversation ends up every time, someone says its him and someone says it isn’t loll. I’m just going to assume it is him because i always see him smirking and typing something on his laptop
I bet skip bayless hounded him hardcore this morning cause he had nothing else about the eagles to criticize

Skip probably wishes that it was his ass that the ball was going up.
Jason Peters: Heart of a Lion, Face of a Chipmunk.

Skip Bayless would only want the ball up his ass if Romo put it there.
Bayless = UltraTool
I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, there will be no trade for Monta!
False, it would be Tebow he'd want it from.
Bayless is terrible. When ever the Broncos succeed it’s because Tebow is a gamer, but when they lose it’s every one else’s fault. Or, he goes and makes a big deal about Palmer preferring Housh to TO. Of course he does, he worked for years with TJ and very, very little with TO.
The man is inconsistent and just says things for the reaction.
"We are not normal, We are Legends. People will tell their kids about us." - Deon Butler before Ohio State Game 2008.
I’ve loved Kelce ever since week 2, there’s a physicality about him that just tells me he’s gonna be a legit center for a long time. The O-Line as a whole has been pretty solid, even minus a Jason Peters, but we saw what a healthy Peters does for this O-Line. From pretty solid to dominate.
And I think what we’ve been seeing since the second half of Buffalo is for real. Mainly because the coaching staff have finally backed up their words about “putting my guys in position to succeed.” Once they realized that our linebackers weren’t equipped to run the wide-9 in full, they shortened the gap and moved them closer to stop the run.
And we’re finally using a Asomugha, a Cromartie and a Samuels the way you should use them: Man to Man Coverage. You got these tall, athletic corners and you’re going to have them play zone? It’s because of their athleticism that you can man em up and still get deep coverage anyway.
Took em 5 games, but 5 games is better than not realizing it at all.
We’ve got the Bears and the Cardinals up next, can anyone say 5-4?
The funny thing is this was probably Kelce's best game
Ratliff is a beast, and I don’t really remember him making a play.
At least Kelce was a good sport about it.
And we know the guys pay attention to the media even if they say they don’t.
Still waiting for the Eagles to Bring it Home for Jerome.
I don’t necessarily remember a time that Ratliff made a play either, but I DO remember seeing Ratliff straight up toss Kelce around a few times. I like the guy, but I hope he can add some more weight while maintaining his athleticism.

What gets me about this...
In watching that gif over and over… Kelce’s mistake meant one more hit on Vick. I don’t think Bradie was even concerned about going for the ball lead in with his shoulder pretty hard, just ready to drill Vick while he’s on the ground.
Can you blame the other teams for trying to get Vince Young in the game?
Still waiting for the Eagles to Bring it Home for Jerome.
Wasn't blaming Bradie
He had a perfectly legal hit… blaming Kelce for screwing up in a way that allowed Bradie to take that shot.
