"Over My Dead Body Mentality"

Letting out my frustrations, just trying to cope with another loss and of course I had to smash something!. Red zone offense and 4th quarter defense, let's get this fixed!

Philadelphia Eagles lose to the San Francisco 49ers??? *Head Explodes*

Really is that what this season is gonna be like? We all know the Philadelphia Eagles should have won this game, I was all ready to do my victory dance up in the Eagles bar up. Then 4th quarter came around. I am trying to be optimistic but this is some bullshh...shut yo mouth. I'm trying to keep this a cuss free channel, but damn my Philadelphia Eagles are making this hard. Ugghh, I hate being a LOSER! Come on eagles you have to pick it up. When we start losing to teams like the 49ers, after having a 20pt lead, then I know something is wrong.

See this pretty little cupcake? This is all the hopes and dreams I had for my eagles...and this is what they did with it! (smash) Well, Michael Vick threw for a career high of 415 yds, but we still lost the game, and it's about winning. I don't know what to say at this point. It's the same thing every week. We need to close the games out when we have the lead. I can go on forever on the stupid mistakes that we made to GIVE the 49ers this victory. Yes, GIVE, even good ol David Akers was trying to help us out by missing 2 field goals, but we gave them right back. I guess Henery has a case of Akers syndrome too...I have to give Niners credit for taking advantage of every opportunity we gave them. They made plays when they needed to, and we just rolled over and died.

Red Zone offense and 4th Quarter Defense is what this loss breaks down to. I'm not going to pinpoint every missed opportunity, because we'll be seeing those replays all week. During Michael Vick's press conference he said Philadelphia Eagles need a "gut check" and I totally agree. Were not losing games because we lack the ability...seems like were running out of gas and gusto in those 4th quarter drives. This comes down to heart, 49ers wanted it more...I mean how the hell does a defensive end Justin smith (285lbs) catch up to Jeremy Maclin, one of the faster WR in the league, to force that game ending fumble. In order to close out these games, we need that "over my dead body" mentality, just like Michael Vick said.

What is an Eagles fan to do during this frustrating time of the season? Well, I'm gonna cure my sorrows with a trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth." Yup, I am going to Disneyland. So next time I report to you guys hopefully I'll be in a better mood.

Yeah, i’m counting on my BGN Eagles support system, cuz youtube is flooded w/ niners fans and Eagles haters. They’ve been waiting a long time for a victory against us. I just need to remind them that they’ve been absent in the playoffs for the past 9 years, not to get too excited, lol.

Explains the timeline of how i became a fan of Philly even though i grew up in LA. But in short my husband (from Phoenixville) taught me the rules of the game, I didn’t know much about teams and players but noticed when players/coaches stood out. I first noticed Donovan McNabb, he had a goofy funny style that I was really drawn to. Also, I really liked Andy Reid’s calm coaching demeanor.
Advice to get ur girl more interested, find a player that she will really like and get one of her girlfriends to learn the game w/ her too.

i will say the two things i actually took away from this game as positives was when cullen jenkins kind of called out his teammates and number 2. when vick gave the story about the over my dead body mentality. He also said this is gut check time for the eagles and some people have it and some people dont. I like this brash kind of statement and for a team that lacks a vocal leader i hope vick steps up into the role. I love the way vick plays but he comes off as a quite guy, i hope he emerges as the leader of the over my dead body mentality.

Yes, Vick is one of the few showing some heart. The entire back 7 on defense is as soft as they come. No one can tackle. Its f-ing outrageous. Nmamdi Fu(king Asomugha already earned $3 million of his $12 mil. Have you made a serious tackle yet? Asante Fu(king Samuel, you are a joke. The linebackers should all be on the Practice Squad.
