I was listening to NFL network this morning and heard something intresting. Jim Mora a couple years ago was interviewing to become the new DC after Jim Johnson passed away but once he got here and spoke with Reid he decided he didn't want to coach anymore. Marty Mortinwig is the OC but he also has the title of ass. Head Coach. This postseason when they fired Sean McFailmot they clearly had some targets before hiring Juan that they couldn't land. So I ask myself this morning, Is Andy Reid such a control freak that premier coordinators do not want to coach under Reid? Why did all of the Eagles coordinator targets pass on the Eagles? Were a playoff team contender every year and we have a lot of talent. Wouldn't it be a dream job to come here? We got Marty Mortinwig but we gave him the title of ass. HC. I dont understand why we gave him the title of ass, HC, is it because he didn't really want to come here and they gave him that title as a last ditch effort?

This is purely speculation but you have to ask yourself why do guys like Jim Mora and many others  passed up the chance to become DC after Jim Johnson passed away?
