Are The Falcons Getting Bad Karma?

First this happened. Then there was this...

THE FINE levied on Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson for his hit on Jeremy Maclin in Week 2 has been dropped from $40,000 to $25,000 on appeal, his agent said.

And then these guys said this.

"To me it’s karma for all the bad stuff they’ve done in the past," Suh said. "I can go back, there’s like a 13-15 play clip reel that we have that shows everything they’ve done. That’s not even counting our game."

"They are late, cheap-shot guys who have been doing it ever since I’ve been playing against them, back when I was with Tennessee." said Steven Tulloch.

I dunno, you tell me...

Its tough to say...

….that a whole organization/team specializes in cheap shots and shady moves, but I’ve had bad blood with Atlanta ever since that Monday night game where they baited Trotter into a fight with their third stringer and had them both tossed before the game even started.

I didnt even connect the Suh comments with the 2 Dunta Robinson incidents (on a side not it is ridiculous to reduce his fine) or anything on the defensive side of the ball for that matter. I thought it was directed solely towards the o-line (which I thought was getting the old denver broncos rep of playing late, playing low).

How can you possibly justify, downplay, or soften what Dunta did to Maclin!?!?!?

That is the biggest disgrace I have seen in a while!!! Where is the deterrent there if he keeps doing it and the league keeps lowering the fine! Serves no purpose.

like the fact that Collinsworth was heated about that hit. You can tell he just wants to say " Again? What fuck man?" Dunta is a punk as so eloquently put by one of our guys here and should have been racked with the full fine. He is a repeate offender. The NFL needs to get their shit straight with how they enforce this.

If what happened really happened with Suh/Avril and the Falcons, its really not justifiable though. Suh is getting a notorious repuation for being a dirty player. It was on NFL network the other day about how players were saying this and then Seymour chimed in with " I dont think he is a dirty player". Right, coming from him not the best vote of confidence.

I think it was stupid for the Falcons to go to the media and complain. Keep it on the field. Also, by complaining they have now taken all the attention away from the fact that they actually won the game.

The thing that really pissed me off is that the Falcon’s players complained to the media? Really? We all clearly know that they brought this up to get people on their side, but I’m pretty sure more people now think that the Falcons are whiners as opposed to thinking the Lions are dirty. In the end, don’t complain to the media, do something about it on the field.

Never noticed this but at the end of the Maclin hit clip, look at the gaze Maclin is giving Dunta from the sideline when he is getting checked out. Dude has pure hate in his eyes, like he is gonna properly fuck him up later.

And on the next play the Eagles called a sweep that got Jason Peters on Dunta. Jason went right for him.
