NFL Week 7: What To Watch For

The Eagles have the week off, which means we as fans are free from angst and get to just enjoy a pressure free weekend of football. Of course that doesn't mean we won't have rooting interests. Here's what to watch for in week 7.

Donovan McNabb is only ex Eagles QB without a starting job, also he's the only ex Eagles QB that won't get killed today. Kevin Kolb and A.J. Feeley will both get starts today against the Steelers and Cowboys respectively. Kolb, who has struggled anyway in a subpar Cardinals offense gets the one of best defenses in the NFL. AJ Feeley makes his first start in forever and will lead probably the worst team in football into Dallas, which is a gimme game for the Cowboys.

The only other NFC East team in action is the 3-2 Redskins who are underdogs on the road to the 1-5 Panthers. John Beck will make his first start after the Eagles ended the Rex Grossman era last week.

The games shown locally will be Chargers at Jets (who cares?), Atlanta at Detroit (this was actually switched to WAS at CAR but changed back unfortunately) and finally Green Bay at Minnesota (which will probably be awful).

So what your saying is to turn on red zone at 1 and never turn it off? Done

On Countdown they said the Cardinals asked about Carson Palmer, I’m not paying 100% attention since I’m watching a movie on icefilms but they didn’t say if it was during the off-season or recently

So, who to watch today? Seattle @ Cleveland? Followed by Pittsburgh @ Arizona and Green Bay @ Minnesota?

Yeah, I think I’ll just do work today. The primetime games suck, too. Indy @ NO and Baltimore @ J’ville. This is the week of wastes, although I’m sure someone will be upset.

It seems like most of the primetime games have been so far.

The main game I’ll have on in the AM will be Chargers/Jets then in the PM games it will probably be Steelers/Cards. I’ll have the SNF game on but I’ll be paying more attention to the WWE Vengeance PPV

We have certainly gotten a lot in return for QB’s that went through Reid’s system, and they all have found little success in their new homes. For Feeley, McNabb and Kolb, we got 3 2nd rounders, a 4th and a pro-bowl CB. Obviously, the jury is still out on Kolb, but he has not played well at all so far. Does Andy’s system make QB’s look better than they really are?

I think one thing people don’t consider is that they all have gone to bad teams, I think Reid has a lot to do with it though

McNabb should just retire. Stop embarrassing yourself unless you’re going to lose 15-20 lbs and get yourself to the point where your legs/core can actually help your throwing.

Start swimming.

The Jruth shall be told.

lol @ Jets offense. They’re awful. 15 three and outs in 19 drives at one point. How bad is that. Where’s my boy puffdaddy.

Thankfully, I have bunch of things to do today so I don’t have to watch this batch of crappy football…

Let’s go next week!

PLEASE! Open thread the Wembly game, all by itself. There’s enough cringeworthy material for an entire thread

Is it just me or does Kolb look really heavy in that picture?

Let the beasting begin.
