Eagles safety Kurt Coleman has been named the NFC defensive player of the week for this three interception performance against the Washington Redskins. Coleman also led the team with 6 tackles on Sunday.
It was a resounding return to the lineup for the second year player, who had been benched after a poor attempt at a tackle that led to a TD in the Giants game. However, after Jarrad Page was hurt (or benched, however you want to look at it) Coleman got his shot to return to the lineup and made the most of it.
He is the 25th Eagle to win the NFC defensive player of the week honors.
