Some roster moves I believe would make sense.

The Eagles need help at linebacker no question. Here are some players I believe could help.

Lofa Tatupu- He was a leader for the seahawks. The only thing that worries me is the injury concern. With no clear guy in the middle for the eagles I think he would sure up a shaky position.

Kawika Mitchell- Again the injury concern worries me but I think he could also bring some veteran influence in the locker room.

Keith Bullock- Nothing much to say about this guy. He is not the player he used to be but again the veteran leadership would help and he can still produce.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported rumors of deals for these players.

Eagles trade a 3rd round pick to the Denver Broncos for LB DJ Williams and S Brian Dawkins.

How awesome would it be if this would happen. DJ Williams can play any of the three LB spots and he is a tough player.

Brian Dawkins would be great by himself. He is the one player the eagles should of never let go. He is the all time greatest eagle. If the talks were true it would be awesome the eagles have a surplus of picks so this would be a good move.

Eagles trade Asante Samuel to Pittsburgh Steelers for 2nd round pick.

Just because its bound to happen the eagles need to let DRC have some time since he is for the future. I love Asante Samuel he has been a ballhawk for us but he is the oddman out in this situation.

None of this is happening. Do you ever post anything decent?

The Shefter

report is just what he would do.That deal is not happeningdude

Asante Samuel would be an awful fit in Pitt. They play a press zone coverage scheme that is predicated on discipline and maintaining your responsibilities. LeBeau doesn’t like flashy players either. Asante to Pittsburgh is one of the things I can safely say will never, ever happen.

This post is garbage.

Don’t you realize there’s a reason that none of these old, washed-up veteran LBs you’re talking about aren’t currently playing for another team?

No. He said these are trades that “SHOULD but WON’T happen”.

Also, why did you post this in the middle of a game?

Typical Ohio State fan

Although I love Rolle and the Big Kurt. The only mvoe right now that would make any sense would by Asante for Stephen Tulloch and a mid round draft pick.

Why the hell would the Lions trade Tulloch when they just signed him as an FA and has been great for them

I play Madden therefore I do whatever I please. It doesn’t matter that the other team has no adequate replacement. I traded for Patrick Willis the other day and we can’t even trade for Stephen Tulloch? Shiiiittt. Get on it Howie!

Dude.

It’d probably take Asante for Tulloch and a late pick if the deal even materialized.

Hey, they gave us Brian Rolle and Kurt Coleman. Brian Rolle is balling out btw. He is infinitely better than Casey Matthews. He should be the WLB for the next decade. No joke. Rolle has that shit on lock. He is the next great short linebacker.

so… Casey Matthews…. what do you do with him? He’s basically a bench warmer or practice field. No team is going to want him….

I come in peace. Neutrality is my thing.

Barry Sanders is better than Deion Sanders.

Give him this season to develop or dump him if we can find a tradeable LB elsewhere. He is a rookie who was starting at middle linebacker and I remember hearing somewhere that might be an issue. (wink!)

And yes this is Philly, you welcome to come check us

It's a nice thought, but

we don’t need more roster rotations or free agents. We’ve got a good win now, the goal here is to keep the ball rolling and work on chemistry. I think our 2-4 start shows that you just can’t solve problems by throwing talent at it.

A deal

could happen for Asante but will it, DRC is the future and will be soon enough. I agree Asante is out but when will be the question. Thanks but watch the game before you post by a fan and enjoy watching
