Sonny Jurgensen to be Honored in the "Hometown Hall of Famers" Program

On October 18th at 10AM, the NFL Hall of Fame will honor former Eagles HOF quarterback Sonny Jurgensen with the unveiling of a plaque at his old high school in Wilmington, NC. Previous recipients of the honors include Howie Long and Joe Namath. You can check out more about the program here.

Jurgensen was a part of the Eagles' 1960 NFL Championship squad and made the Pro Bowl during his record-setting first year as a starter in 1961.

If all goes well, I'll be able to speak with Sonny early next week, so if you'd like me to ask him a particular question, let me know.
