First time poster here...
This was from Peter King's MMQB article this morning. I know that there's been some talk about trading Kolb during the off-season and Peter mentions it also... but he thinks we could actually get 3 1st round picks for Kolb. Here's the quote:
"I think the Philadelphia Eagles shouldn't consider trading Kevin Kolb for anything short of three first-round picks. Ridiculous, of course. But think about it. Kolb's salary is manageable next year at $1.4 million. We haven't seen Mike Vick play a full season in forever. And if Vick goes down in September, do you want your season resting on the right arm of Mike Kafka? Kolb has more value by far than a normal top backup would have, because there's such a real chance of the starter getting hurt. So don't be tempted, Andy Reid. (Not that this offseason is going to business as usual anyway.)"
Is it King's pipedream or do we actually have a prayer that some team would actually give up 3 1st rounders for Kolb?
I mean... I'm not crazy about Kafka becoming our backup QB but I don't see how Andy turns down even 2 1st rounders let alone 3 for Kolb.
