So it is the beginning of the playoffs and I think Coach McD would be wise to bring out some new and intriguing defensive alignments that our opponents have not seen yet, similar to the Pats running a 4-3 during the Superbowl against us!
Okie Defense, for those of you that do not know this defense, it is where we generally have a "Joker" Position, previously played by the likes of Kearse, Trent Cole and the likes. I would like to see us do this, but employ Cole as the Joker alot, this would allow us to do delayed blitzes up the middle after that blocking TE that the packers use all the time has released, thus freeing up a rushing lane for our "Joker"
New Linebacker Positions - Follow this logic if you can, I really like Ernie Sims at WLB, and MLB should be Chaney based on his play the last few weeks, which I think has been very streaky but good. So what do we do with the SLB? Well in my opinion we let Bradley play there if he is healthy enough. He played strong side in college and we could probably use him more there, eventhough we will likely not use a three linebacker play call that often as the Packers don't run it and we will be in nickle for most of the game.
Also, I wouldn't mind seeing a 4-2-5 look with three Safeties, instead of three DB's, but asking me which safeties is a risky question.......
