Anyone else excited about this offense now?

My first reaction was confusion, a LOT of confusion to see Michael Vick, a QB who I NEVER thought was very good be named the starter ahead of our golden boy who've we have been grooming for 3 years now. The kid who looked REALLY good in his first two NFL starts ever (set a record in fact).

However, against GB and DET I see a new Michael Vick. If by all accounts this cat has been hitting the playbook and studying film as much as they say he does he could potentially be one of the most dangerous QBs in the league.

He creates so many problems for the defense. I'm not sure if you guys noticed but as soon as DET went to man coverage and our WRs started racing down the sidelines Vick was GONE--bye bye. If you have to take one defender away from coverage and spy  Michael Vick well now you have either DeSean Jackson 1 on 1, Maclin 1 or 1, OR Shady or Brent Celek with matched up against a LB.. This game is all about mis matches and that just screams mismatch to me.

A few other observations is this offense is totally not a WCO with Vick in it. It's a vertical offense mixed with some option as well.

Vick did make some of those ill advised throws last week that he was known to do in ATL but IF he actually studies and improves his game, stops the mistakes, wow!!! We might have something special.

Anyone else share my thoughts?
