So let me get this straight: We just traded away a phenomenal 33-year old QB (and a kind human being) to make way for a potentially great young QB who we are now benching in favor of a sporadically good 30-year old QB (and sociopath). OK, got it.
We will remember this as a very dark time in Philadelphia Eagles history, folks. The time when our love of pro football was nearly murdered by the reality that pro football is just a business, and if you think Michael Vick is your best shot at winning the next game you start him regardless of the promises you made to other players and to your fans.
