It was interesting to read how Ryan would do this with Lewis and Reed in Baltimore, letting them call the defense. Seems like something that should be more commonplace in the preseason.

You think we’re keeping 6 WRs? I agree if we keep 6 that they both make it but if we keep 5 I might give the edge to Washington now but I’m still not 100% sure
They usually keep 5 or 6 at the end of the year they were down to 5 so I don’t know. I think they don’t want to risk losing Chaney through waivers so maybe they cut Fokou and keep 6 LBs instead of 7 but then you wouldn’t have a LB without any starting experience at SAM, or they could try to trade him or Gaither but I doubt that.
In all seriousness...
I know it’s only been a half, but that third RB spot still seems like it’s up for grabs. Both Buckley and Mallett are running well.
I would be extremely surprised if they keep Mallett over Buckley

I’ve been flipping back and forth between this and the Phillies game (Phillies more so now that they came back from a 4-run deficit and the Eagles are playing Pannel Egboh) so I have not seen everything, but Coleman, Washington, and Calvin have really stood out, whereas Vick was meh and Mike Kafka has not looked good at all.

we were the No. 1 offense in the NFL through the first 2 weeks. And I don’t think we’re in any danger of being the best offense in football.

Didn't miss much.
Only guys who stood out tonight to me were Fokou, Chaney, and Coleman. ‘Not so’ Macho Harris is definitely getting cut in a few days. Ditto on Mallett. Offense line backups continue to show they really stink and I don’t understand why Kafka got so much time tonight.

When the feed went out I was basically SOL and was interested to get a look at the backups. Wasn’t a huge deal, obviously, but I wanted to know how the game finished up.

Couple of decisions the Eagles will probalby have to think about a bit after tonight are Dixon/Owens at DT and Washington/Baskett at WR. Probably Clayton/Chaney too.
