IF MCCOY GOES DOWN, WE HAVE TO RELY ON MR. I CANT STAY HEALTHY MIKE BELL. WE CAN'T HOPE HE CAN PULL THE SLACK WHEN HE HASN'T HAD EVEN 10 SNAPS AS AN EAGLE.. SO OUR 3RD CHOICE IS BUCKLEY???? DON'T GET ME WRONG I LIKE WHAT BUCK BRINGS TO SPECIAL TEAMS,BUT IF WE HAVE TO PUT BUCK IN, WE'RE GONNA COMPLETELY ABANDONED THE RUN GAME. WE ALL KNOW HE'S A HARD RUNNER, BUT WE NEED MORE VERSATILITY. I KNOW MALLET DOESN'T PLAY SPECIAL TEAMS, BUT WE HAVE SCHMITT NOW AND MILLS FOR SPECIAL TEAMS.. MALLET CAN RUN,CATCH AND GET SHORT YARDAGE HOPEFULLY, BUT I'D PUT MY MONEY ON MALLET THAN BUCK IN A RUNNING SITUATION.. IF BELL CAN PROVE TO HIMSELF THAT HE CAN STAY HEALTHY, I WOULDN'T BE WRITING THIS POST, SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

What if Kolb goes down and we are stuck with unreliable Vick and our next best choice is Kafka…maybe we should pick up Jeff Garcia!

If Buckley hadn’t fumbled this post wouldn’t even be here today. It’s kinda funny to me. During training camp everyone seemed to back Buckley to make the team. He fumbles….and folks want to show him the door. On that play where he did fumble, he bulled his way for some good yardage for what would have been a first down. If he hadn’t fumbled and the Eagles scored, he might be seen as a hero today. But he did fumble. Charles Woodson, one of the best, is a ball hawk. He goes for the fumble…..trys to knock the ball out, and he was successful on that play. Buckley is a hard runner who can get you that one, two or three yards. The fickle Eagles fans are always ready to give up on a player who isn’t perfect…..and no player is. I notice that some of the Donovan haters who thought Kolb was the second coming…..are now calling for Vick to be #1…..lol. Those folks need to get a life. Manning got beat, Romo got beat, Sanchez got beat. I’m one who hated to see Donovan go……and I say…..cool it, give Kolb a break. You’re going to see him for a long time.
