Our offensive line is almost embarrassing.
We’ve had so many injuries, and so many guys out for so long…our line exists on paper only…

White started slow last year, but picked it up in the latter half. He’s definitely the main target in Atlanta.

I was out with the wife and her friends…didn’t want to be rude and watch the game the entire time so I saw some plays off and on but overall, how did they look?

Kolb started 2 for 7
and it didn’t get much better.
He’s under a lot of pressure and seems REALLY nervous!
Defense looked good until a punt return penalty gave them a first, and their no huddle offense marched down the field to score.
Terrible game so far!

I did see Kolb look less than great, was hoping it was just the few plays I saw. Seemed like he was missing guys pretty badly. Looked like Maclin got raped on a few no calls that should have been pass interference. Glad we scored a red zone TD. Would be nice to see Kolb execute a pro longed TD drive. It is the Chiefs afterall.

Jeremy Bloom 2.0. Only Roger Staubach and David Robinson have made that few-year jump successfully after being in the military. Well, except the boys after WWII. But everyone was in the same boat there.

So, as much as I love the guy’s talent and think he can still be a very useful player for us, can we just suck it up and call him soft yet?
last year against dallas, i think game 2
he came across the middle on a short route with 2 defenders to either side, DMAC shot him the ball with no room to spare, and Maclin ddint hesitate. Also a beautiful sideline grab, in another game that was semi-crucial

Nothing specific that just happened, but the thought has been brewing for a while. It goes back to last year a bit. He seems to have a habit of taking shot and being slow to get up.
Last game he takes a shot and drops the ball out of bounds in a “stop hitting me” motion.
I’m not sure, it’s just a sense I’ve gotten. I hope I’m wrong.

Aw damnit. I’ll think about coming but I leave this Sunday, head back home for Jewish Holydays come September 8th, then will most likely be coming back sometime around the 28th. That’s a lot of travel home if I go for the 18th.

We will see. I’ll start training for it, at least. I’m not close to playing shape though (on my way, dropped 25 pounds this summer).

i lost 10 pounds in the past week with a a 103 fever. i dont recommend that diet, but it worked.

Yes.. I wanna see Cooper get more playing time. Maclin seems to have forgotten how to play the position at the moment…
Same here...
and it seems like Cooper and Kolb have better chemistry than Maclin and Kolb. I also wouldn’t be surprised if Maclin got traded in the next 2-3 years. I have this bad feeling he won’t work out here.
