Check out that last paragraph -- claiming it's Harris vs. Hanson for the #4 CB slot, and Dmitri Patterson has made the team.
Now, this could be nonsense. And it could actually mean that Patterson is making the team for his special teams ability, and will play as the dime back, with Hanson or Harris as the nickel. But I can't imagine that's the case here -- the Eagles always consider the nickel and dime corners to be important parts of the defense. So, to me, this suggests that they really think Patterson is the third-best corner in camp, and that Hanson's stock really is falling off the map. He still could make the team over Harris, who was not a high draft pick and was overmatched last season, but regardless it isn't looking good for him.
We know Samuel and Hobbs will start, and we know who the safeties are. Will Patterson be the nickel corner? Who is in more danger, Hanson or Harris? Is there any possibility of Harris moving back to safety*?
* Yeah, I doubt it, but maybe Demps or Coleman isn't as much of a lock as we think they are.
